The app
Leadership Ledger is a private weekly leadership journaling app for iPhone. It is licensed to you for personal use under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated into these terms. Where these terms and the EULA conflict, the EULA governs.
Free features
Journaling is free: weekly audits, self-review, the ledger, history, and export work without any purchase, indefinitely. Your data always remains accessible on your device regardless of subscription status.
Subscription — Leadership Ledger Coach
- AI analysis (weekly analyses and Pillar Reviews) requires the Leadership Ledger Coach subscription: $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year (prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase).
- Before any subscription is needed, every new install includes a free allowance: the first four weekly analyses and the first Pillar Review, with no payment information required. This allowance is a feature of the app, not a StoreKit trial — nothing converts to a paid subscription automatically.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Analyses already generated remain on your device if your subscription lapses.
AI-generated content
Analyses, suggested ledger items, and suggested commitments are generated by an AI model (Claude by Anthropic) from your own reflections. They are suggestions for your consideration — you accept, edit, or dismiss each one. They are not professional, medical, psychological, legal, or employment advice, and may contain errors. You are responsible for the decisions you make.
Your content
Your reflections are yours. We claim no rights over anything you write. Your text is processed transiently to provide analysis (see the privacy policy) and is never stored on our servers or used to train AI models. You are responsible for what you choose to write; the app's onboarding recommends using initials or roles rather than full names and avoiding confidential business details.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the analysis service. We may rate-limit or refuse service to protect it. We may modify or discontinue features; if the analysis service is ever discontinued, your journal remains fully accessible and exportable on your device.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
